Central Research and Development Center

ACPM Medical College & Hospital is constantly thriving upon research and technology development to deal with challenges in health care delivery and improvement of quality of life of rural and tribal population in the vicinity of 40 km radius of the College. In pursuit of achieve its objectives, Central Research and Research Development Center is established in 2009 with basic facilities which are being upgraded time to time to provide working platform to its faculty members, UG and PG students and medical practitioners. The College has approved  IEC for scientific appraisal and ethical approval of research projects to be undertaken by its faculty and students. A research advisory board has been constituted comprising of senior faculty with research aptitude & expertise as internal members and accomplished researchers as external members to support and share their expertise to the research workers.

This center is first  step to initiate creation of inoculation center at ACPM Medical College & Hospital, for carrying out translation research and impact analysis of improvement of health indicator of serving community by the college and hospital. This R& D center extend its activities which includes research in molecular biology, cytology & virology by investing substantial funds. Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory is well equipped, NABL accredited molecular laboratory. The laboratory delivers quality test results as per established and validated test methods by maintaining a high level of professionalism in Laboratory practices. This is achieved through developing a transparent quality management system as per requirement of the accreditation authority, well-accepted test methods, teamwork and involvement of employees to strive to achieve Customer (Patient/Physician) satisfaction. Laboratory Implements and maintains Quality Management System as per ISO 15189: 2012 Laboratory Participates in Inter laboratory and External Quality Assurance programmers to evaluate test competency. Institute always tries and upgrades laboratory continuously to keep aware of the latest test methods and implement developments in laboratory Quality Management.

The R& D center also organises Workshop for “Good Clinical Practices” for faculty, Ethics in Research, cutting edged Technical aspects in research. Scientific article presentation etc.
